The Organic Enterprise was developed by Allen Helms as an archetype for purposeful, viable, organizational systems. It is intended to be an innovative way to reconsider existing organizational models in light of natural organizational principles and to share best practices in the field of organizational effectiveness.

Allen has long had an interest in organizational theory – the spark of divine inspiration that comes from people coming together in free association to achieve a worthwhile objective and the collective structure that makes it function. How do we get more people on the “same page” doing something that matters?

He  is currently living in Atlanta and has spent the last 15 years working with companies such as Wachovia/Well Fargo, Interstate/Johnson Lane, Internap Networks, and LexisNexis to constantly improve strategy, marketing, and operations.

Allen graduated with an Economics degree from Auburn University, a Master’s degree in Business Finance from Georgia State University and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt.  Recent interests include Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS), Cybernetics Theory, Systems Thinking, and Agile/Scrum team facilitation methods.
